Join The Grid

Just because you’re out in the Boondocks, doesn’t mean you can’t be part of a grid.

Sometimes I need help. I want to support my community and offer work that I can’t fulfill to YOU.

Are you a freelancer looking for project-based work? Join Boondock Consulting’s Grid, where your talent is brought on-grid, supporting businesses that encourage the nomadic, off-grid, and tiny home lifestyle. If you are offering your talent as a freelancer, please complete the form below and I’ll reach out and schedule a call to learn more about your experience.

Please note that this is for ad-hoc, project-based, freelance work only.

This is not an employment offer, but a partnership on an as-needed basis. I want to help other nomads by offering out work to them that I am unable to fulfill myself.

 FAQs

  • I partner with other nomadic entrepreneurs when my clients have a need I can’t fulfill. Usually, I work directly with you on behalf of my client, so my client only has one point of contact to communicate with. Depending on the work, there may be times I refer you directly to my client, and you will work with them directly.

  • I personally specialize in copywriting, project management, and administrative support. My clients also often need support with social media management, content and campaign management, SEO, web design, email marketing, graphic design, and photography/videography.

  • As long as you can provide a W9 form, either I will pay you, or my client will pay you directly. All payments will be based on a predetermined rate, on a 1099 basis. Most of the time my clients ask that I manage any vendors for them, so they still only have one point of contact to work with. If I am the one paying vendors directly, I pay based on the terms outlined in an SOW.

  • Since I’m building a network of other nomadic independent workers and not hiring employees, I need basic information from you to stay in touch, understand your skillsets, know your rates, and see your style of work. This way I can confidently refer you to my clients and maintain a trusted relationship with them (and you!).

  • Yes. For the safety of my clients and to ensure there are no misunderstandings with requirements, project work, and rates, I ask all vendors to sign a Primary Services Agreement which includes an NDA, as well as an SOW (Statement of Work).
