My vision for Boondock Consulting was simple.

I wanted to support businesses that encourage nomadic, off-grid, tiny living and sustainable lifestyles—my lifestyle.

Hi! I‘m Sierra, and I’ve been traveling full-time in a camper van since 2020.

I’ve worked 100% remotely since 2016, even with my previous corporate job. When it finally hit me that I could work from almost anywhere, not just from “home” in my apartment, I decided to hit the road while still working full-time.

About a year after leaving my apartment in Seattle, WA., I started a marketing side hustle as a hobby. I wanted to support businesses that resonated with my lifestyle and values.

In January 2022, I decided to quit my corporate job and focus full-time on my business and community. I decided to focus on you.

I’m no stranger to a simpler, more sustainable lifestyle.

I grew up in the mountains of Northeastern Washington State in a small cabin in the woods. We didn’t have running water, and we heated our home with a wood stove in the winter. My camper van has more amenities than our cabin did when we first moved in.

I’m also no stranger to business strategy. Having worked in corporate America for (many) years, I understand the need for profit margin, ROI, budgeting, and following a structured process. 

I’ve owned other small businesses in the past, and now this one presently. I get that every penny counts, and growth strategy may have to shift unexpectedly to stay afloat.
